Introducing the new button!

Postby Tuan » Wed Nov 18, 2015 9:56 am

Introduction the new 'move your project to the next stage' button...'

Image

This button is only available to the creator of the topic and moderators. Clicking it will change the name of your project automatically...

The button will only be available in the forums where projects are held.

CAUTION: There is no "undo" button as of right now.

For example, this topic "[Recording] Girls' Generation - Lion Heart (Dec, 13th)" will be renamed to "[Mixing] Girls' Generation - Lion Heart (Dec, 31st)"... replace Dec 31st with the actually mixing deadline, because Meike hasn't decided on the deadlines at the time of this post.

As of right now, the button only works up to mixing. In the future, pressing the button when your project is on the mixing stage will send a request to a mod to release the project for you.

If anyone finds a bug or has any ideas on how to improve this feature, please let me know!

The date is based on midnight of Dec 19th UTC. So depending on your time zone settings, it will show as Dec 20th or 19th, mine says 19th haha

Your project title shows the 19th though, so it should be fine (That one doesn't depend on time zone, all users will see it as 19th). The deadlines table calculates the date everytime the page is refreshed (so that depends on the time zone). Because everyone names their projects differently, it'll have to be this way until I make that form that hopefully will make everyone's project names the same haha.

Update:
I don't really want to flood the updates forum so I am just going to post this here even though it's not really related.

  • The deadlines table now doesn't have a zoom in on hover action (it seemed a bit unprofessional so I decided to remove it, sorry to those with bad eyesight).
  • There is now a stage bar above the post for topics in the projects forum. The current stage is highlighted and hovering over the name of the stage will display the deadline date for that stage above the bar.
